Senior Outreach

 

There will only be one meeting of the Senior Center during January. All are welcome for Senior Center on Wednesday, January 16. The menu is: Spaghetti bake, garlic bread, salad, green beans, fruit salad and dessert. The program will be announced in the bulletin.

 

Winter Items Needed!

 

At this time of year it can get very cold, and

even colder for those out on the streets. If you have any blankets, gloves,

scarves, or any other items we can hand out to folks who come to our doors, please bring them in as soon as you can. We are also running low on food and water in the supply cabinet. Any small snacks, warm or cold, are greatly appreciated.

 

Middle School Youth Gathering

 

Eleven Middle School youth and four adult

sponsors will be leaving after school on Friday,

January 11, to head down to Colorado Springs

for a weekend of fun and faith-building. Please

get in contact with me, if you have not already,

to get a registration sheet. Parents need to fill

out this sheet in order to attend the Gathering. If

you or your parents have any questions please

call me Mon–Friday 9am to 4 pm at 303-936-

4859 or any other time at 720-435-7349 (cel). I

will be talking with the adult sponsors soon

about a possible departure time. Thank you,

and I hope you are all very excited!

 

Youth Group in January

 

Youth Group will happen on Wednesdays,

January 9th and 23rd, from 6-8pm. Plan to

eat before you come to youth group or bring a

snack to munch on while you are here. You are

encouraged to bring friends to youth group!
