Pastor Dena Williams

Please welcome Pastor Dena Williams as interim pastor at Good Shepherd. Pr. Dena was our parish intern in 1996-1997. She is pleased to return to Good Shepherd, and to greet friends, “old” and “new.”

Rev. Dr. Dena Williams is a pastor of the Rocky Mountain Synod, ELCA. She served several congregations in the metro area in the past twelve years. Pastor Williams holds the Master of Divinity and the Doctor of Ministry degrees from Iliff School of Theology, Denver. She also holds a Certificate of Advanced Theological Studies from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, Berkeley, CA. She writes for church publications including Augsburg’s “Sundays and Seasons.” Her introduction and commentary on Titus and Jude appear in the Lutheran Study Bible from Augsburg. Her theological essays on several texts appear in Westminster John Knox’s “Feasting on the Word”, Year C. She particularly enjoys preaching and teaching.
